Plan Your Visit

Challenge Yourself

Whether it’s your first time on the water, or you are a seasoned Paddleboarder or Kayaker, Clearwater Activities and Spring Valley Lakes camping and glamping extends a warm welcome to you. Come and experience the crisp, fresh, natural spring water of our lakes, this is what makes them amongst the best lakes for water sports activities.

Camping and Glamping

Why not stay over at Spring Valley Lakes. Our neighbouring business offers overnight options for camping or glamping. Check them out at www.springvalleylakes.co.uk

Paddle boarding

Paddle Boards are designed to stand up on – but – many people choose to sit on them – especially as you’re finding your balance! You can bring your own, or hire ours. Seasoned Paddle Boarders can do handstands, but, it’s ok to give that one a miss!

Kayaking / Canoeing

Kayaks and canoes provide a fantastic way to navigate the water, whether you are looking for a peaceful morning or an afternoon of exploring. You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment, or, you can hire our kit if you would rather travel light. Experienced paddlers might try to master the perfect roll, but, there is certainly no rush to do anything more than sit back and enjoy the view.

Sub Aqua Diving

Sub aqua diving offers a wonderful opportunity to see the lake from a completely different perspective. With a maximum depth of 15 metres, the site is well suited for beginners just starting out, while still providing a great environment for seasoned professionals. You are more than welcome to bring along your own diving gear, or, you can utilise our own professional kit. Professional instruction is also on hand for those who wish to learn or sharpen their skills. Please note that booking your lessons in advance is essential to secure a place. While some divers are ready to explore every corner of the lake bed, it is perfectly fine to stick to the shallower areas as you build your confidence.
